Insane car crashes that people walked away from
The good people over at Jalopnik have compiled a list of the 10 most insane car crashes that people walked away from. After watching the first one, i knew i had to repost all the vids here. Rally Car goes over cliff. Things go about as well as you would expect.
Nascar driver slams into wall, removes the car part of his car from around him and then almost gets hit flush by another car.
This guy walked away from this without any major injury. crazy.
The fact that he was thrown free probably saved his life. He walked away with a broken finger.
I think 165mph is probably very wrong, but nonetheless – this guy slams side on into the back of an 18 wheeler at high speed and managed to live to be arrested.
I actually picked a different video than they did for this, they had almost 7 min of racing. All we need to know is this crash. Both the Mercedes cars actually left the track going upwards in this race. Webber managed to leave it completely and land in the forest next door.
Another Nascar entry. When you see the damage to the car, no way you think that guy survived it. Lucky for him, he did.

Paul Williams injured in motorcycle crash
Paul Williams, who was set to fight Canelo Alvarez on September 15, is “likely paralyzed” from the waist down following a motorcycle crash near Atlanta, reports WRDW.
Williams, 30, has a record of 41-2 (27 KO) in the ring and was set to be a big step-up opponent for Mexican phenom Alvarez. He is scheduled for surgery on Wednesday, according to manager and trainer George Peterson, but the early prognosis is not good. No matter what happens, he’s not going to be fighting Canelo in September. Apart from that, we can only hope for the best.
This is absolutely awful news. Paul Williams has had a good, entertaining career, and always gave the best he had in the ring. Forget the fight: I just hope Paul Williams can beat the odds here and walk again. That’s obviously the number one, most important thing in this story.

This is terrible news, here is wishing Paul a speedy recovery and hopefully his injuries will not be as bad as currently reported.
RIP Johnny Tapia
According to multiple reports by local news channels, three-division world champion Johnny Tapia was found dead at the age of 45 ealier today. KOB-TV Channel 4 is reporting that Albuquerque police informed them that the boxing legend was found dead inside his Albuquerque home. KRQE News 13 is also reporting that sources close to the family have confirmed the news. Although details are unclear at this point, more information is expected to be released later tonight.
Sad news, Rest in peace.
