Syllabolix posse track from the new Clandestein album, Weapons Grade, which has finally been released, and can be purchased now.
This bullshit redbull video site doesn’t embed into wordpress, so you’ll have to click the link below.
I swear to god noone is paying me money for this (if you want to though…. well, lets talk), it just so happens all the best shit to happen today involves Roc Marci’s camp haha. So continuing with the marcithon – here is the official video for the ill arch druids produced ‘Emeralds’. Reloaded due “summer” 2012. I dont know when summer is in the US, june?
KA drops another self made video from Grief Pedigree. If you haven’t got that album yet, you should do yourself a big favor and go grab it. I cant remember if i posted his other videos, it seems like the sort of thing i would do – but i cant find them with the search box, so here they are again.
and my personal favorite
I’m still all sorts of sick so the blog’s been a bit quiet, sorry about that. However i DID just get an interesting email from the good people over at Goodfellons. They’ve been quietly releasing a bunch of pretty great vinyl recently, and this one may be of some interest. Roc Marci and Dino Brave teamed up to do a song with Lost Occupant over a beat produced by Don Chalant of the Arch Druids. Since a new UN record is probably not likely, this might be the closest we’ll get.
Press is limited to 350: 110 green and 240 black on 7″ vinyl. Worth grabbing for the collectors out there. Head on over to their site and take a squiz. It’s still in the pre-order stage but i’ve ordered vinyl from these guys before and they’ve always come through.
Whether this actually is the worlds fastest lotus (i’ve done literally no research into this), it’s got to be up there. 680whp and weighs less than a tonne. Twin charged 1.8L engine (ie. supercharged AND turbocharged), better power to weight ratio than Mario Andretti’s Formula One Lotus – and way better than a Veyron. This thing would be crazy to drive.
Ps. If you like cars, subscribe to Drive’s channel on youtube.
This one is from Gensu Dean’s debut album, Lo-Fi Fingaz, which is out now
Bit slow on the updates this week, sorry about that. Been sick and haven’t been fucking with the outside world.
Today getting back into it with the Beard gang remix of Brand Nubians classic. Throwback Jakk available here
Some video i shot on the iPhone last night. It’s a bit shaky and blurry, pretty hard to hold a steady, in focus, shot with one hand on an iphone while you’re holding a drink and shoulder to shoulder with a bunch of rowdy rap fans haha. Great show
Cutting it close there…. This gif is hypnotic.
so is this one
Friday. fuck yeah.
Produced by Salaam Remi, Da Internz and the late Heavy D (RIP)
The “why must i cry” guy is back with CGI explosions and everything. The most worrying part of this video, and i guess ‘why must i cry’ also, is that someone sold him guns.
To be fair, judging by his youtube channel, he never stopped making level 50 shit hop. But i cant be expected to be on top of everything you know. The internet is too big for that, and lets face it – who has time to watch a 30 minute video of the ‘why must i cry’ guy giving his thoughts on whatever it is he thinks.
Another visual from Blackbelt Theater which is out now.
The homey Purpose has just dropped a new video. Purchase the full digital single from Bandcamp here: http://purposeadl.bandcamp.com. Purp’s full length album ‘Where It Starts’ will finally be out June the 8th.
Produced by EZ Elpee
Action Bronson and Party Supplies have dropped their collaborative mixtape, Blue Chips. Which you can download here
The son of Big Pun (RIP), Chris Rivers, sets fire to a bunch of instrumentals. The apple does not fall far from the tree here, dude has skills. Very interested to check what he does next.
Bumpy Knuckles and Premo are dropping KoleXXXion, coming 3/27/2012
New Roc Marci joint produced by the Arch Druids. This shit is ill.
Ferrari’s new big V12 replacement for the 599 just got it’s official launch video. This thing sounds 730hp worth of sexy.
First single from the Mega.Actionbronson.Rocmarciano.Saigon. collab project, M.A.R.S. (see what i did there?). Produced by Large Professor
Action Bronson has teamed up with Party Supplies for “Blue Chips”, which is dropping March 12. Blurb to follow
With the most intriguing collaboration since Public Enemy & Anthrax, Action Bronson & Party Supplies have crafted a hypnotic joint that takes us to the streets of Hunts Point in 1993. Inspired by the classic HBO documentary of the same name, Action offers up a shocking first hand account from the stunted lives of streetwalkers: Cyndi, a prostitute addicted to crack, Silk, a violent, misogynistic pimp and Ramón, a former athlete turned junkie. Directed by Rik Cordero.
Blue Chips is a project that allows me to give something back to all the people who have been supporting me during the last year. Party Supplies and myself linked up in the late fall and over the span of a few weeks created this project entirely off the cuff. We didn’t over think it, we just had fun making music with no pressures of making a “hit song”, clearing of samples or sales expectations. – Action Bronson
Some visuals to go with Maffew Ragazino’s ode to the L train. This song was also featured on producer ATG’s mixtape titled, The Susan Sarandon Story. Maffew’s new mixtape, Rare Gems 2 Black Gold, should hopefully be out soon.
