This one is LARGE. Love it. This joint is a leak off the soon to be released “Relentless part 2″.
St. Maffew smashes it over those Honeydripper drums in celebration of becoming Source magazines unsigned hype of 2011. It’s nice to know the Source still gets some stuff right, i kind of stopped paying attention to it in the 90′s (*dons hipster glasses and throws back a decaf soy chai*).

A video just dropped from Action Bronson and Statik Selektah’s “Well done” collab. This is probably my favourite joint on the whole thing too. Album is real good, i’m a massive bronson fan so i’m biased but whatever. This is my blog, i’ll get my bias on all i want. It’s a bit slower than you might expect but i dig that. You can cop it here

Big ups J Live.
Despite reports that he has passed away, WBF Middleweight champion Shannon Taylor is in hospital on life support after a Drug Overdose. Here is hoping that he can make a successful recovery from this.
This one is from Eddie B and Harry Fraud’s “The Lucky 7″ EP, which *appears* to be free. I had to google it and all the links came up with DL links, but you know how it is on the internet these days. I’ll post it up on the strength of these other blog sites saying it’s free. If it aint, shoot me a comment and i’ll remove it.

My man DJ Jugular aka ‘D4 CaRpEnTAH’* just knocked out this sneaky little remix of a track we did a long time ago, on a compilation far away called Suffering City. I bring this to you exclusive for the internetz and people of Wolf Shirt Extremism. Enjoy.
* he has never been called that and i make it up to embarrass him for fun.
This clip is incredible. That editing is seemless throughout, reminds me of being young. Watching rage all fucking night with a tape in the VCR on record / pause just waiting for a hip hop clip to come on. I think i still have a bunch of VHS tapes of all the stuff they used to play, and a few copies of copies of copies of Yo! MTV Raps and shit like that. Man i gotta dig those out now, see if i still have them. The fact that a video clip can inspire memories like that – is a testament to how well it is made. Well done guys.
This is a really inspired use of getting strong now. Love it.
DJ Premier’s new Classical remix for RE:GENERATION featuring Nas and the Berklee Symphony Orchestra.
Filmclip #3 from Marked for Death. This time the title track gets the steeef
This is a really ill clip, i love it. I’m not sold on the song but it’s ok. The bit where KRS one flies into the sky like a rocket is fucking great though. You know that was his idea. I can just picture the meeting for the clip, the director is laying out all the scenery – “we’re gonna have your album covers, and the NY skyline, and these classic images” and so forth. Then KRS is like “i want rocket feet”. That’s what i’d do, i’d have fucking rocket feet. Well played KRS, well played
another week, another new roots vid from undun
My day was going really really badly until i saw this. There is nothing like African cinema to bring you out of a slump. Even if it’s only a temporary respite, these 31 seconds are enough to keep my from jamming some scissors into my neck as i was previously contemplating. So I guess what i’m saying, is Ghana’s terminator / alien / baby kicking movie saved my life.
Jesus christ, there’s more. heaps more. This is the best thing ever
Did that dead ghost thing cartoon A FUCKING CAT OUT OF ITS MOUTH!!!
Well Done is going on sale november 22. Cant wait.
From the album Hood Scripturez which is out now.
First clip off these guys collaborative EP due out next year
The second video for Undun has dropped. I’m liking how they are doing this with the segmented video clips
props for using one of K-Def’s heaters from the criminally slept on Real Live album.
TMZ posted the following this morning
Rap legend Heavy D — one of the most influential rappers of the ’90s — died earlier today … TMZ has learned.
Heavy D — real name Dwight Arrington Myers — was rushed to an L.A. hospital around noon today … and was pronounced dead at the hospital at 1 PM. He was 44 years old.
We’ve learned a 911 call was placed from Heavy’s Beverly Hills home around 11:25 AM to report an unconscious male on the walkway .
When help arrived, we’re told Heavy D was conscious and speaking — and was transported to a nearby hospital.
He died a short time later.
Cops are investigating the death — and so far, there are no obvious signs of foul play. Police are currently at the home.
Fuck this sucks. 2011 is killing legends left right and center. Rest in Peace Heavy D.
Unfortunately this time the news appears to be genuine. Joe was in posession of the greatest left hook there was. Sleep well champ, Boxing has lost one of it’s toughest warriors today.
